Altimet is taking part in SIMODEC 2026, Europe's leading trade show for precision machining and screw turning, from 2 to 6 March 2026 at Rochexpo, La Roche-sur-Foron. Come and discover our surface and dimensional metrology solutions at stand 1550.

From 2 to 6 March 2026, Altimet is exhibiting at SIMODEC, the international trade show for screw-turning machine tools and precision mechanical manufacturing, at Rochexpo Exhibition Park in La Roche-sur-Foron (Haute-Savoie, France).

Europe's Premier Event for Precision Machining

Founded in 1954, SIMODEC is the only European trade show exclusively dedicated to production equipment for screw turning and precision machining. Located in the heart of the Arve Valley — home to over 70% of France's screw-turning companies — it brings together 250 exhibitors this year and attracts thousands of professionals from the automotive, aerospace, watchmaking and medical sectors. The 2024 edition set a record with over 22,000 visitors.

Altimet at Stand 1550

Visit our team at stand 1550 to discover our latest non-contact optical metrology solutions for quality control of machined and turned parts:

  • Roughness and surface condition measurement to ISO 25178 standards — Ra, Rz, Sa, Sz parameters on turned, milled and ground parts
  • Non-contact dimensional inspection — dimensions, flatness and parallelism on small-sized components
  • Functional texture characterization — tribology, lubricant retention, surface treatment analysis

Three instruments will be on live demonstration at the stand: the AltiSurf© 500, the reference in industrial surface metrology, the AltiSurf© 560 with dual measurement head for doubled efficiency, and the ScanStation for fast 2D and 3D dimensional inspection. A unique opportunity to speak with our engineers and test our systems on your own parts.

Why Come and See Us?

SIMODEC is Altimet's home ground: screw-turning and precision machining professionals are precisely the industrialists for whom our instruments are designed. Controlling roughness on a turned part, validating surface condition after treatment, measuring the flatness of a housing base — these are the day-to-day challenges our clients face.

Come and meet our team from 2 to 6 March. We will be available for live part demonstrations, advice on your measurement challenges and discussions on the latest developments in our product range.

Opening hours: Monday 2 March 2pm–6:30pm · Tuesday to Thursday 9am–6:30pm · Friday 6 March 9am–2pm. Special evening event on Thursday 5 March until 10pm.
